Elves are graceful but frail. An elf's grace makes her







naturally better at stealth and archery.






Base Speed: An Elf's base land speed is 30 ft.






Medium Size: As medium creatures Elves have no







bonuses or penalties associated with size.






Immunities: Elves are immune to magic sleep spells and







effects, and they have a +2 racial saving throw bonus







against Enchantment spells or effects.






Low-light Vision: Elves can see twice as far as humans







in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar







conditions of poor illumination. They retain the ability







to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.






Racial Proficiencies: Elves are proficient with the







longsword, rapier, and all bows. Elven culture







espouses swordplay and archery, so all Elves are







familiar with these weapons.
Skill Bonuses: Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Search, Spot, and Listen checks.

Elves have finely tuned senses of hearing and sight. Furthermore, and Elf who

merely passes within 5 feet of a hidden portal or concealed door is entitled to a

search check as though she had been actively looking. An Elf's senses are so

keen that she practically has a sixth sense about such things.
Longevity: Elves are remarkably long-lived and age at half the rate of humans.
Sleepless: Elves do not need to sleep. Instead, they enter into a trance which lasts

for four hours and from which they return fully rested. Elven arcane spellcasters

still require a full eight hours of rest to recover spells, however.
Automatic Languages: Common, Elven
Bonus Languages: Draconic, Beastman, Gnome, Goblin, Orc, and Sylvan.
Favored Class: Wizard. An Elf's wizard class does not count when

determining an experience penalty.
