remarkably astute and charming, though they are






Base Speed: A Kyantol's base land speed is 30 ft.






Medium Size: As medium creatures Kyantols have no







bonuses or penalties associated with size.






Healing Affinity: Kyantols are astoundingly familiar







with healing spells. This familiarity grants allows







them to cast spells with the Conjuration [Healing]







descriptor at +1 Caster Level. This ability stacks with







the power granted by the Healing domain.






Low-Light Vision: A Kyantol can see twice as far as a







human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar







conditions of poor illumination. A kyantol retains the







ability to distinguish color and detail under these






Noncombatant: Kyantols generally focus more on peace







and prevention more than force of arms. As a result







they do not fare well in the midst of melee combat.







Kyantols take a -2 racial penalty on melee attack
Skill Bonuses: +2 racial bonus to Spot, Listen, and Heal checks. Kyantols have large
eyes and ears, allowing them to pick out auditory and visual details more accurately
than humans. Also, the Kyantols' familiarity with the healing arts extends even into
more mundane forms of healing.
Automatic Languages: Common and Kyantol
Bonus Languages: Elven, Beastman, Birdman, and Celestial.
Favored Class: Cleric. A Kyantol's cleric class does not count when determining whether
he takes an experience point penalty.

Kyantols have access to the following racial feat.
Advanced Healing
Prerequisites: Kyantol, Ability to spontaneously cast cure spells
Description: You have taken your dedication as a Kyantol to the healing arts to a

new level. Your knowledge of magically curing wounds surpasses what most

others of your race could ever imagine.
Benefits: When you prepare a Cure spell you may do so at one level lower than

normal (Cure Light Wounds may be prepared as 0-level spell, Cure Moderate

Wounds may be prepared as a 1st level spell, etc, etc...). This benefit does not

apply to spontaneously cast spells.


Also, because of your commitment to the healing arts you may never again

prepare Inflict spells.
