BLAZE
BLAZE

Blaze 1 (Lesser Blaze)
Evocation [Fire]
Level: Sor/Wiz 1
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 ft. + 5 ft/3 levels
Area: Everything within a 5 ft. square
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

A small, campfire sized fire erupts to encompass the ground beneath an
enemy. Anything within the area of the spell takes 1d6 + 1/caster level of fire
damage (max 1d6 + 15).

Material Components: A pinch of sulfur

Blaze 2 (Fireball)
Evocation [Fire]
Level: Sor/Wiz 3
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 400 ft + 40 ft/level
Area: 20-ft-radius spread
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex half
Spell Resistance: Yes

A burst of flame detonates with a low roar and deals 1d6 points of fire
damage/caster level (max 10d6) to all creatures within the spell's area. All
unattended objects also take this damage. The explosion creates almost no
pressure.
You point your finger and determine the range (distance and height) at
which the fireball is to burst. A glowing, pea-sized bead streaks from your
pointing digit and  unless it impacts upon a material body or solid barrier prior
to attaining the prescribed range, blossoms into the fireball at that point (an
early impact results in an early detonation). If you attempt to send the bead
through a narrow passage, such as through an arrow slit, you must "hit" the
opening with a ranged touch attack, or else the bead strikes the barrier and
detonates prematurely.
The fireball sets fire to combustibles and damages objects in the area. It
can melt metals with a low melting point, such as lead, gold, copper, silver, and
bronze. If the damage caused to an interposing barrier shatters or breaks
through it, the fireball may continue beyond the barrier if the area permits;
otherwise it stops at the barrier just as any other spell effect does.

Material Components: A tiny ball of bat guano and sulfur

Blaze 3 (Greater Blaze)
Evocation [Fire]
Level: Sor/Wiz 4.
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 50'+5'/3 levels
Area: Everything in a 15’ radius
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex half
Spell Resistance: Yes

Large fireballs begin to fall from the sky, enveloping the area in a firey
shower. The ground begins to fissure, causing vents of superheated air to erupt
from the ground, scorching everything in the area for (1d8+1)/level fire damage
(max 10d8+10). As with Blaze 2, combustibles are set ablaze and materials
with low melting points are melted. Being indoors does not protect a creature
from the fire damage.

Material Component: A small burlap bag filled with the essence of sulfur and bat guano

Blaze 4 (Ultimate Blaze)
Evocation [Fire]
Level: Sor/Wiz 5.
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 50'+5'/3 levels
Area: Single target
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

As Blaze 3, except the fires seem to take on a personality of their own and
manifest themselves in a far more compact area. A firey dragon erupts forth,
circling the target amidst the rest of the blaze, impeding any chance of evasion
and further superheating the air to monstrously high temperatures. The targeted
creature takes (1d10+2)/level fire damage (max 8d10 + 24).

Material Component: A small burlap bag filled with the essence of sulfur, bat guano, and
a carved twig shaped like a dragon
